Nobody would have imagined back then that this would lead to international aviation industry, turning the sky into a floating roadway across countries. But even if that was probably the most difficult step, the aviation industry still has to deal with lots of challenges, making aviation in itselfs a complicated and labyrinthine process.

What is the task and what is the problem?

When an air company is planning a nonscheduled flight, in most cases obtaining the landing permit is mandatory, without which you cannot depart from the Airport of origin.

Landing permit obtaining is time sensitive process and all who ever has touch with obtaining of landing permit will agree, that it is important to submit all required information and documentation that may be requested by a particular CAA on time and with the main request.

As different countries have different requirements for permit application and it may cause some delays before all information is gathered, an additional reason for delay of permit processing, can be a lake of direct communication between the particular CAA and landing permit applicant.

For obtaining of landing permit, as per common practice, permit application is always submitted via AFTN or by SITA, or by e-mail. All this method of information exchange makes a person participating in this process be at a particular place, at a particular device.

Therefore, we have a time-sensitive process, with a lack of direct communication, the possibility of losing data, the possibility of an incorrect submitted application, dissemination of information or its obtaining is limited due to device, method of its delivery, or requirements to be a particular place.

Yes, it is!

A current approach of obtaining a landing permit is common worldwide and all who are involved in permit obtaining process are used to work in such a way, but in the 21st century, the era of digitalization, it is unfair to work in the way, which have used at the beginning of aviation epoch.

Then we gave a question to ourself - But if people were able to put flying machines into the sky almost 120 years ago, then we, along with our partners, would be able to solve this issue?

After a year of brainstorming and hard work in coloration with Gent Lab first engine was created after months of testing and developing the first Platform of APOALX Soft Triple P was born. As Triple P is a permit processing platform, it should be built up according to the needs of a particular CAA. At this stage Triple P engine and an interface are ready for correction to be tailor-made according to particular CAA requirements and expectations.

Triple P, give the unlimited possibility to Civil Aviation Authority, to make full systematization of all flights, operators, handling suppliers, handling agents, and aircraft documents, to check any document validity in the database of submitted documentation, and to monitor all process without additional efforts.

Triple P, can be used only by pre-registered users, which gives the possibility to monitor, who is actually submitting a particular request, and transparently have full information of all end users of the platform. There is no possibility of submitting any request by a non-authorized or by an unidentified user.

Triple P, is not only changing the way of communication between the operator and CAA, but also simplifying the process of obtaining the permit, and helping to avoid any delays or non-predictable processes during obtaining a landing permit!

Platform users can also directly communicate with eachother without leaving the platform, send separate mail, AFTN, or SITA Message, or calling by phone.

Platform logic is built in such a way, that any request or submitted documents are automatically stored in a particular operator folder and it can be automatically updated according to its validity.

Triple P, can also give the possibility to search any flight with flight number, permit number, operator, and airport code, and can give full statistics according to pre-arrange description, as well to give full information on the register of issued permits.

For CAA User

How is platform working itself?

Each user can build up its own database in the platform of its particular aircraft or customers, submit required documents in advance, monitor their validity and in case of any of them is expired, you get notice to submit an updated one.

Creating a database of aircraft, or customers gives a possibility to speed up permit application submitting time and automatically link documents to landing permit request, as per aircraft tail number.

Once a particular Operator, or Handling supplier, submits a permit application, CAA’s permit department duty officer, will get notification on excepted new request. He/she with overview the initial request, flight details, passenger, and crew data, submitted documents validity, its status, and if he/she will consider that the application meets legislation requirements, is pushing the approval button!

Once the initial request will be approved, all other authorized users is starting approving or declining the landing permit application.
Once all parties designated by, CAA with such authorization, will approve the landing permit application, CAA’s permit department duty officer will make a final review of all approvals and give final approval on the permit application.

After final approval, the system will automatically generate a landing permit number.

The Permit number will be automatically shown in all user’s dashboards that are participating permit application approval process.

Why, triple P, can be interesting, for Operators, or Handling suppliers?

After registration in a platform, the operator or handling supplier can submit an initial request to a particular CAA to obtain a landing permit.

The request form, given in the platform, is built up according to the requirements of a particular CAA. Step by step, a permit applicant is asked to provide all required information or document what is needed for obtaining a landing permit.

Once the permit application is submitted, the applicant can be sure that a submitted information and documents, meet particular CAA requirements and that its request is processed.

From the moment of submitting the permit request, until granting of the landing permit, an applicant can see the actual status of the permit and at what stage it is pending.

How Installation and Implementation process is happening?



Once a particular CAA declare its interest in Triple P, our IT technical staff will send a special questionnaire, which helps us to get more information on the requirements of the particular CAA.

After the submission of filed out questioner in 15 working days, we are giving a full report on how the system will be rebuilt and what will be the final interface of the product delivered to a particular CAA.

In the report will be given full information about final technical features, platform delivery estimated deadline, and costs.

From the signing purchase agreement with a particular CAA, we start working on the creation of the final version of Triple P dedicated to a particular CAA. The average time of creating a final version of Triple P for a particular CAA can be different and based on their actual requirements, but the period of the delivery final version will take around 3 or 5 months.

Once the final version of Triple P is created, it will be hung on our cloud base technology or on a particular CAA server which should be provided by the CAA.

During preparation of Triple P for CAA, we are arranging 2 hours of online training with a detailed explanation for CAA staff how the system is working itself.

After launching Triple P on CAA dedicated web hosting, our IT staff will perform the required check and backup of the system. During all periods of using of the platform, we provide 24-hour support for our customers to answer their questions or make them comfortable using the platform.
